Go on the App Store and hit search.
    Type in "IM+ Lite"
Then tap the button that says free.
It will magically turn into a button that says Install.
    Then tap that.

    Enter your iTunes password.
    Confirm it.
    IM+ Lite will then download.

    Is your Wi-Fi on?
Can you connect to the internet with Safari?

If you simply don't have an internet connection on your iPod, here's what you do.

    1. Click download in iTunes. It will download to your computer.
    2. Connect your iPod.
    3. Click your iPod's name in the sidebar.
    4. Then click Applications.
    5. Click 'Sync Applications.'
    6. Check IM+ Lite.

Ive tryed that as well, its like a damn conspiracy against me from itunes/apple, When i do have a secured wireless internet in my house, and i can connect to it just fine and surf the internet and everything else.

Youtube does not work and the app store does not work for me, and when i connect to my PC and use itunes witch i use almost everyday for my music/photos/movies yet i cant use the app section because i get this message that says something about a parental control lock or something?

    Well that explains a lot.
Go to Settings, tap General and then Restrictions.
It's probably turned on, with iTunes, YouTube, and Installing Apps Disabled.
    Talk to your parents.

If they didn't do it, restore your iPod.

Well first off im 26 so i aint got no parents lol, but thanks for the thought and help, but when i go into restrictions it says disable but when i look in the allow area, safari/youtube/itunes and apps are all set to on, shouldnt it just work? or should i still disable it and then attempt to connect to app store?

Is there something amusing you here? if your unable to help, then get the hell out of my thread.
