I am basically trying to change the lock/unlock click and the keyboard click.
I tried going into uikit, springboard.app and changed the sounds in there but nothing happened. Any one know how to change these on ipod touch 2.2? Thank you

Use winterboard. Download a system sound theme from cydia, then SSH into you ipod/iphone and go to library/themes....then find the one you downloaded and do some reverse engineering. find out what sounds do what and what kind of files they are and make your own.

Im having a problem changing mine too...

I read that you could change them by going in system/library/audio/uisounds then replacing your sounds with the originals and I did this but they wont play.

    anybody know whats wrong?

Now I understand that I should google this problem instead of posting a new thread about this problem but it seems as if no one can fix this problem

I JUST FOUND A SOLUTION FOR THIS!!! Now... the downside is that the unlock and lock sounds can only be the same... NOW! Backup your UISounds. What I did is I looked in all of the sounds. I found a bunch of duplicates with sq_ in the front. THESE ARE THE FILES THE iPOD READS!!! OMG 4 hours of working and I finally found this. The sq_ applies for the alarm, beep-beep (when it's plugged in), lock and tock. OMG THIS IZ SO COOL!

basically, if you have an ipod touch then, you will need some sort of speaker or use headphones to hear the sounds. Firstly nevigate to system/library/audio/uisounds and you need to rename any file to e.g sq_lock or sq_tock ( for keyboard )
