I was thinking, if someone out there has their SHSH blobs for 3.1.2 and for 3.1.3, hell maybe even 3.1.1 Could we not put these side by side and compare differences? I know they have their customized bytes according to the hardware they are going on. But why could one not compare enough of them to find a sequence or something?

Just my thoughts being provoked again

No you can't actually apples has their own special master piece to stop exactly that. The same thing goes for PSP games they have their special signature signed by SONY which no-one has figure out in the last 5 years.

You'd need to break Apple's signing encryption...

    Yeah,
And i dont really understand why all the devs are working on breaking new firmwares and not even thinking about decrypting that code?
That would not waste any exploits but would let people downgrade and use 3.1.2.
And if the devs are able to crack brand new firmwares.. i don't beleive it is impossible to crack that freaking encryption.

Look at how long it took for them to decrypt DVD protection.. then think again on how easy it would be to break it..

Well, IF geo within 4 day was able to get full access to the Ipod firmware...
Maybe it is not that hard for him?
I am totally noob in programming so i am not sure.. i can only try to compare some facts.
