how do i update to 4.1 if i edited a plist file

    i edited the plist files to enable the wallpaper, multitask, and battery percentage. how do i update? do i need to put the files back and stuff

    Hit "Update" in iTunes. That is all.

    Absolutely not. If you want them, you will have to jailbreak and enable them. Don't ask about a 4.1 jailbreak either because it's not out yet. Basically, if you want to keep those features, get a third or fourth gen device, or stay on 4.0.

    can't you decrypt the firmware and edit the files and rencrypt it then restore it to taht and have multitasking and wallpapers?
