I may have messed up a little... I had my iPod jailbroken, and then I updated to iOS 4.1, but my iPod was still jailbroken.

Now, when I turn on the iPod, in the main screen (yk where you must slide to unlock), I get the usual things such as the time, etc, but in the background, in a fainter colour I can see the custom main screen I had when it was jailbroken. Other than that, I haven't seen any other problems, but yeah... how do I unjail break it? :c

    restore.

Wait did you jailbreak it on 4.1? Because if not then its not jailbroken. You can't just upgrade a jailbroken device to fresh firmware and have it jailbroken.

Restore is the only way to get your homescreen back, but it is no longer jailbroken. Same thing happened to me when I updated or whatever. It removes the jailbreak but keeps minor customizations.

You're not jailbroken, you restored from a backup made while you were jailbroken. So restore it.
