How do I switch off autocorrect?

    It's getting to be an irritation now. I write stuff in several languages, and anything not in English gets totally trashed unless I 'cancel' every correction.

    I can't see how to turn this off. It's just in mail, which is an Iphone app. Anyone help? TIA.

    If you have a jailbroken iPod you can download a little addon through Installer it's called Kb and I believe it is located under the Tweaks section of installer. Once installed you can access it through Settings -> General -> Keyboard. There should now be a toggle to enable or disable autocorrection.

    look in the installer app there is a patch for it. i havent used it but its there.
