    Is there a way to remove all those annoying ads on Cydia? These ads waste time and ultimately battery while they load up and once again; they are flat out annoying.

    1. SSH into your iPod
    2. Navigate to /etc/
    3. Download this replacement hosts file---> http://jamesisbored.com/iphone/content/hosts.php
    4. Replace the host file. You might want to back up the original just in case
    5. Make sure file has 755 for permissions (not sure if this is needed but just in case)
    5. Respring/Reboot
    6. No more ads!

    Isn't this kind of wrong (morally)? I mean the least we could do for saurik is bare the ads... (He gets money)

    Yes. It is wrong. It's not like their forcing you to click the ads. Just deal with it.

    Saurik gains no money from the ads, its the repos that post them.
