How do i personally customize my ipod?

    well i have seen people's ipods say their name where it normally just says ipod...stuff like that...anyone know how?

    Go to Cydia, then search Winterboard. After you have installed Winterboard and rebooted your iPod, go back to Cydia and install Make it Mine. Then load Make it Mine from the Springboard and type in what you want to replace iPod with, and click Carrier in the top left.

    LOL you dont need to download winterboard in order to download make it mine

    You can just download make it mine but if you want to customize the springboard then yea download winterboard.

    winterboard won't apply themes on my newly jailbroken 2g.... can anyone help? says it has installed the theme but actually hasn't... tried a few; same result

    Go into winterboard and select the theme you want. If that's what you are doing, did you reboot after downloading winterboard?

    well i know that.. it's not physically applying the theme... how do you avoid the "reboot device" in cydia also... if i do i lose my jb
