I have the Apple Universal Dock, and I have the Apple composite cable(from early 07), and I wanted to output video to my TV. It works great with the new 3G iPod Nano, and I can even get sound off of the Touch, but how do I get video off of it?

Do you have video out enabled? In settings?

    You need to upgrade

You need the new composite cables made after July specifically for the iphone, touch, 3g ipods nans and classics...49.00.. Had my school buy it for me (Instructional purchase). The old dock and cables will not work...Already tried it...

no, older models [ipod video and such] have the video also being broadcasted through the mini-jack port, you got a special mini-jack to RCA and it had all three outputs
