Is there any reasonably convenient way (IOW, something better than emailing the files) to move pdf, rtf, and html files from a Windows PC (running XP) and an ipod Touch? FileManager and a few other apps allow this sort of thing with a Mac, but I've yet to see an app that will allow document transfer from an XP PC to a Touch. Would jailbreaking it and installing any of those apps help?

In any case, I want to transfer several dozen (at minimum) documents from my PC to my Touch (running 2.0) so that I can easily view them. What are my options?

install OpenSSH on your jailbroken 2.0 ipod and then use WinSCP.

    search around for some guides.

i dont really know if this was what youre talking about......

if you want to read your pdf's you are going to have to convert them into html with some free programs and use or you can use which is in beta, and in my opinion, not as good as

on the other hand if you mean using your ipod as an expensive flash drive then you would have to ssh it into a file in "media" but it cannot be too big cus its only alloted a certain amount of space
