    Well, the text has to be part of the background and the icons are on the left. The right spaces are blank/demo apps.

    evan, i followed your instructions but im stuck on something. at the end you say use app reveal to hide the stuff you dont want. but app reveal only hides certain things right? like youtube, safari etc. so what do i do with all the other stuff. ?

    yeah but they gott be apps that can be hid by app reveal right? i managed to work around it by using some "blank" apps. just gotta be careful to tap only on the icon. and it means i still see all my original apps if i go to pages 2 and higher of the springboard. but at least p1 looks ok.

    if someone can explain how to do it so that i can hide the apps rather than just displacing them to higher pages with the blanks id appreciate it

    If you have everything tucked away neatly in categories, you should be able to use customize to hide any stubborn apps. The ones you're using app reveal on will need to be left in place, but the rest can all be hidden using customize. You also need to be aware in order to make apps revealable/hideable, you need to add the following into that app's info.plist:

    <key>SBIsRevealable</key>
    <true/>

    Notepad should be able to open most of the third party plists.

    Safari/mail/youtube and others you may not be able to edit the plists for, if that's the case, you'll need to use other apps as placeholders and hide these apps using customize. And if you're short on placeholders, you can always download some more games and edit their plists.

    I hope that helps, but if you have any specific questions, feel free to send me a pm.

    thanks man

    yeah i ended up using blanks on page 1 and hiding everythign else. was a bit worried about hiding customise and settings incase anything went wrong and left me with no option to unhide, but i installed dock app just incase.

    thanks again

    glad you got it working alright. the dock idea is a good one, it's always nice to have a backup plan in case things go bad (which they always seem to do
