I have heard most people people are having problems jailbreaking their ipods and iphones on Windows Vista and I am having trouble too. What is the best way to jailbreak an iPod or iPhone on Windows Vista? When I try to restore my iPoT to the custom firmware, it comes up with an error (1).

No offence but your method is hardly going to me revolutionary is it, I mean come on there is only two ways to do it, Winpwn and Xwinpwn and there are no methods, you just click buttons.... dude jsut use Xwinpwn

Ok I successfully created a custom firmware with Winpwn. Whenever I try to restore to the custom firmware, it comes up with an error (1). Does anyone know the problem?

Okay firstly xpwn is a binary version on Pwnage for Mac.

Xwinpwn and jpwn are just interfaces for xpwn so that people that do not understand all the command line stuff that you have to use in order to use xpwn, can still use it in a safe manner.
