How do i jailbreak 1.1.1 without that SSH app?

    I don't want that SSH app, i just want installer.app. What webpage should direct my 1.1.1 ipod touch to to jailbreak it which will NOT give me the SSH thing.

    whay don't you want ssh? It is a lifeline.

    It does come in handy. It lets you browse and modify anything in the Touch's filesystem.

    But turn SSH off when using public WiFi (Services.app provides a switch to turn SSH off), else anyone could get into your Touch with the root/alpine password. Better yet, if you plan on using SSH, change the root password to something unique.

    How do I get openSSH?!

    I cant find it in the installer :S

    I'm pretty sure it's labeled as OpenSSH. Look through the entire alphabetical list, I don't recall what specific category it was under. Maybe you already have it installed; check your installed packages.
