I just jailbroke my 16gb with 2.2. How do I install free apps now?? Sorry I'm clueless.
well from itunes you need an account and choose the free app you want and then download voila
Yes I downloaded the Facebook app just now. So those are the only FREE apps we can download, is off the itunes store? I do see quite a few there.
What is Cydia and Installer used for?
Cydia is for unofficial apps. Don't use installer, it's really bad for 2.0 and above. I suggest getting Backgrounder (lets you keep applications open after returning to the home screen), Volume Slider (it's an access panel for brightness, volume, wifi, and powering off with the swipe of a finger over the status bar), and WinterBoard (allows theming, I just use the background on home screen hack because it doesn't drain my battery). Have fun with your jailbroken iPod touch!
Oh, and if by "free apps" you mean paid for apps for free, that could get you banned from the forum. Just buy the program and support the developer!
yea, i suggest topple and cube runner, those r the best free apps in the appstore
Go onto the appstore on the itouch main screen... downloads right onto your pod.
In Cydia just pick a app and press install-confirm.
