    Hi Guys,

I'm a newbie, so please dont shoot me down!

I purchased an app from the app store not relisling that it wasnt compatiable with the ipod touch.

Now does anybody know how I can patch this app to enable me to install it??

I've got a jailbroken phone so shouldnt be a problem once patched.

I can email the app to anybody who knows how to patch if I can't do it myself, just really need this app, it tells you how much allowance you've got left on your phone without having to go to the website blah blah!

I would really appreciate any help, point me in the right direction sorta thing!

    Cheers!

Can you give the exact name of the application?
Because if it doesnt work on the ipod touch, it will probably need a camera, a sim card, a camera or something else that the iphone has and the touch doesnt have..

Sure its an english app called "Mobile Allowance"

its for iphone contracts but works with others too.

it gets the infomation from the O2 website and gives you an up to date balance of remaining minutes and texts.

Ofcourse you can't use it on your ipod touch and i think it will never work.
Because the program needs a SIM-card in the iphone, and the isn't built to insert sim-card and make phone calls..

it doesnt use a sim card to get the infomation.

it uses your login and password which you use to gain access to the website,

all the infomation is on the server not the sim!

Developer here: it's designed to work with iPhone tariffs only - it's unlikely to work with other pay monthly tariffs.
