how i love to help, but i'm on windows....

but this is how it works

you'll use your cyberduck to connect to your ipod...
you can only connect to it if you installed OpenSSH from installer.app[i also suggest you install Services to turn SSH on/off]
You'll need to find your iPod's IP address... [from Settings/Wifi and then tap the blue circle with an arrow]
    the default login are
    username: root
    password: alpine

try searching about ssh and ftp on this site...

also make sure that Cyber Duck is set to SFTP instead of FTP and that the Port is 22

    Device:
    iPod touch
Fire up CyberDuck - Go to the Bookmarks menu and look under Bonjour. Knock on wood, your iPod touch should show up there as iPod.local (SFTP) so you can log right in...

Otherwise, new bookmark - set the protocol to SFTP/SSH, enter your iPod Touch's IP address (which you can find by clicking on Settings -> Wi-Fi -> <Your LAN>)...

Have you made it this far?

You do so by clicking the "New Connection" button on the upper left, and set it up to look like that. **However** you'll find the correct "Server" number if you go into your Settings.app and look under Wifi for your server address. Put that in there, and username will be root and password will be alpine

Do you have a properly jail-broken touch and OpenSSH.app installed?
