ive downloaded some stuff on computer how do i get them in the ipod?
Have you jailbroken?
If so you will need to SSH them in. with a program such as winSCP, there is a guide somewhere.
Step one: Is your iPod Jailbroken (hacked) + BSD subsystem + openSSH handle
If not, please use iTunes and sync your stuff or please do the above.
If so, please continue to step 2.
Step two: Do you know how to SSH?
If not, please search up a guide on how to SSH
If so, continue to step 3.
Step three: What do you want synced?
Media -> private/root/var/media
Applications-> ...figure it out
thx ill check that...
i advise for beginners ziphone or iliberty to JB.
install openssh from installer.
download cuteftp 8 pro
hostname: ipod ip address (settings>wifi>blue arrow beside wireless network)
Applications directory would be /Applications not /var/root or /var/mobile just /Applications
then after that highlight all the files in the app right click and click properties change the permissions to 755. Then restart your ipod and there you go.
if you are not jailbroken download ziphone 3.0 from ziphone.org
then have your ipod plugged in itunes closed.
then after ziphone is done extracting itself it'll open and click jailbreak. After about a minute it'll be jailbroken!
rather than sshing...use the software called iPhonePCSuite. This rules. No need of ssh! and it is far more easier and more feature packed than SSH!!!
search in the forums for the downlaod of the software...trust me it rules. one of the reasons i plan to get parrarel instead of bootcamping
Jailbreak as mentioned above and use either installer or ssh also as mentioned above to put ur apps on... By the way this is the app release section... Please post in the right section next time... Thanks
You should use cuteftp
its much easier and not
that complicated like winscp
