How do I get a moving avatar?

    how do you get an avatar that is an animation? like the spinning cog.

    Do you mean how to make one?

    You have to make an image with many layers, and save as an animation (.gif)

    all i know is that it has to be a .gif file

    Is it just moving pictures? because I've seen videos of it.

    just google 'animation creator' or something. i made my avvy with one. it was really easy. 75pics it is in total

    Macromedia Flash, Lightwave 3D, programs like that. You must save it as an animated .gif and (in some cases - Lightwave) render it first. It can be tedious
