how do i find my ipod touch in WS_FTP

    ive trauled through post after post
    but all i see is people saying "navigate /Applications/Customize.app/Customize "
    i have no idea how to navigate to that ?
    i type it in the bar and press enter, all i get is it going back to what i had before like my computer or w.e,

    please help

    I use WinSCP. You have to download OpenSSH from the installer and enable SSH through services.app. Then go in to WinSCP and ftp in to the touch using its IP address and root for the name and alpine for the pass.

    where can i fid the ip adress for my touch ?

    you can find your ipod touch's ip address by going to:

    settings -> WiFi

    then click the little blue arrow badge to the right of the Network you are connected too

    AND VOILA

    theres your IP

    how do I list the ip and root in the WinSCP?

    where it says host name put in ip address where it says user name put in root where it says password put in alpine

    i think he might mean how to get the screen up ,
    click new session on the main screen and it should all be there.

    if thats no help give us a heads up
