how do I exit recovery mode

    How do I get my ipod to stop being in recovery mode. When I connect it itunes says there is an error. Help me please.

    Turn the ipod off by holding both physical buttons
    when its off, hold both buttons down for 10 seconds
    release the home button and hold the power button

    It did not work. All it did was bring it back to the screen with the itunes sign and the usb cable with an arrow which is the recovery screen.

    Someone help me PLEASE!!!

    I can't restore it because when I plug it into itunes all it does is come up with an error message and does not even show the ipod being there. So it isnt under devices. So I can't restore it

    I just did and still no success

    Ok well I just restored it. Thanks you very much and I'm sorry for the attitude because I was very very angry and I was about to punch a hole through my wall.
