I really want to download a song I like, but it's not on iTunes. All my favourite songs aren't on iTunes :(
So how do I download it? I've tried [PIRACY.mf], but it only let's me listen to it, not download it.
    What should I do?

[PIRACY.mf] should let you download it. If you provide the link, I can check myself. Otherwise, you may need to find the song somewhere else.

Find the cd and buy it then rip it into iTunes. Downloading it for free is illegal.

I guess you mean using your iPad alone. In that case you may want to have a look in the Apo Store for various apps such as "Downloads" which is the one I use :)

Mp3 is just an audio file. There's no reason to assume that he's pirating music.

He wants to download songs that aren't on iTunes and attempted to use [PIRACY.mf]. Safe to assume he's pirating ;D

Why is it safe to assume that? I know a lot of sites that upload mix tapes and remixes of songs on [PIRACY.mf].

Not all songs are paid for.

Yup, there are many underground artists that publish great songs, for example, Pixel Cheese, who makes good mixes and bootlegs (well, I don't know if bootlegs are in any way legal), and lets people download his works. Also there is Soundcloud, where artists can put wether they can download it right away or give you an option to buy it.

To the OP, just go to your artist's webpage, you should find out where the track can be bought.
If the song is commercial, you could buy the track on Beatport, Amazon, Google Music, or anywhere else (if it's legal, of course).
