    For ipod touch 2g.

    I've followed this thread: http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195460

and deleted the things mentioned in the pic. However, that didn't actually get rid of the bars. It just god rid of the bar outlines.

Also, when I go into com.Apple.Springboard or something like that, I can't find any pictures with the bars. (the ipod touch wifi icon)

The files with pictures of the bars? Because I cannot find any.

Or the files with bars in the name?

Are the files that I deleted (from the link in the thread) the right ones? Should I just put them back and put blank images for them?

If you don't want to delete them, you can just rename them to something like Default_0_Bars_backup.png to back them up. But removing/renaming them should work, that is unless you have a theme active that contains these files, then you must remove/rename them in the theme folder to get rid of them.

if you remove them from the theme's folder you will get the defaults

what you need to do is put these VVV

    Default_0_AirPort.png
    Default_1_AirPort.png
    Default_2_AirPort.png
    Default_3_AirPort.png
    FSO_0_AirPort.png
    FSO_1_AirPort.png
    FSO_2_AirPort.png
    FSO_3_AirPort.png

    in your com.apple.springboard

make them all blank (20X20 transparent)
