Hi, I'm about to sell my iPod Touch (needed a new phone so went with for iPhone) and I'm trying to remove my iTunes account from the iTouch but I can't seem to do it. I've done a "Reset" then "Erase All Content and Settings" and everything has cleared but it still has my email address for iTunes and asks for the password when I try to download anything. Is there any way I can remove such information. I'm weary of selling it on when the buyer will have access to my account if they can break the password. Please help
Not a solution, really; but in your situation, I'd create a new user account on my computer. Then I'd restore the iPod touch inside iTunes in that account. It would be very stange if it still had the iTMS information on the iPod touch by then.
I was having the same problem when I was setting up my friends iPod touch but I figured out a solution. All you have to do is: 1. Plug in your iPod touch into your computer 2. Open up iTunes on your computer 3. Sign out of your iTunes account on your computer Hope that solves your problem
ok now i know how to delete everything on my ipod touch but once thats sold and i buy a new one can i use that same old account for the new ipod please answer quickly
