How do I delete apps through ssh?

    A bit more information would help. What kind of apps... Cydia? App Store? Better you give as much information as possible when posing a question as that will mean you're more likely to get an answer...

    For starters have you read this thread on SSH? I'll presume no as you don't tell us whether you have any SSH experience at all. We can then build on that depending on your replies here.

    Cydia and app store. I know how to SSH. I just do not know what folder the apps are in.

    App Store are under var/mobile/Applications/ - tghough each ─▒nehas a hex code so you,ll either need to use iFile to view or go through each one individually to find teh app you're looking for.

    Cydia apps are under var/Stash/Applications....

    ...this is assuming that you are on later firmwares as it may be different in previous versions. Also if you installed through Cydia or the App Store it's best you delete the apps from there to delete properly and throughly.

    i can't do it through app store; I just recently cleared my hard drive so all the apps are gone from my computer

    Then connect your device and hit 'transfer purchases' in iTunes and it will back them up from your device to your PC... Or just download them again as they will be free - you only need pay for them once and they are linked to your iTunes account for ever...

    it will take too long to delete and redownload the ones i want
