    PHP is web programming language similar to HTML. You need to learn it. If you know HTML or have background about it, then learning PHP shouldn't be that hard for you.
    If you only want a file extension of PHP, what you need to do is open up Notepad > type
    Code:
    <?php
    some code goes here
    ?>
    > save the file with name something.php

    you don't have to type anything on notepad. you can just save the file right away in .php

    hope this help a bit.

    AHAHAHA iPot!!!

    Oh my lord, I lol'd so f***ing much. You just made my week.

    Also, I don't think PHP is used as a base for iPod Touch apps? I really don't know, but from what I know of the language, it's used as a script to write and retrieve information from a database (for the iPod Touch, it has a ton more uses on the web). I don't know though, I could be bullsh*tting you through my eye sockets.

    actually php is not similar to html at all.....

    php is a server side language, html is client, i would know, its been my full time job for the last 2 years lol.

    picking it up should be easy enough, just get used to the oop and classes objects and wot not. simple stuff
