I've been searching around to find out how to change the home screen (background behind the icons) to whatever I want. I can't find anything...

Can someone tell me what I need to do?

iPod Touch 2nd Gen 2.2.1 and yes it's Jailbroken.

    Thanks!

u need to have winterboard installed and then in cydia u need to download a theme.. then go into winterboard, check it, and hit the home button. then it will change.. if u don't find a theme u like, u can either make one, or have someone make u one..

remember to say that the Fusion Dev Team helped you.

In Winterboard, select "User Wallpaper", then whatever wallpaper you have set up will become your background.

NOTE: It's either "User Wallpaper" or "User Background", something along those lines.

Theirs the easy way or the harder but not hard way. SSH or winterboard. I recommend winterboard, and choose custom wallpaper in it.

What I'm trying to do is get any wallpaper off the web and make it my background wallpaper.

You need Winterboard, read my last post, then take an image, in Photos make it your wallpaper and Winterboard will make it your Springboard(home screen) background.

You can make switching wallpapers easier if you SSH the the picture (and rename it to wallpaper.png) into a folder inside of the WinterBoard theme folder. The directory is:

    var/stash/themes.xxxxxx/YourThemeName/wallpaper.png

If you don't know how to SSH, check my sig. Now you will be able to make multiple themes with different wallpapers and easily switch theme in WinterBoard.
