So, my parents cleared out my computer and they said that they saved my stuff, but they didn't. And alot of the music I had, I downloaded it, and didn't buy it. So when i plug the iPod in, it wont let me sync the stuff I downloaded, only the stuff I purchased. And I dont wanna go back and have to re-download all the thousands of songs that I had. But they are all still on my iPod right now. But I haven't added anything new to it yet. But if I were to add some songs, will it like erase everything that was deleted from the library and only add in the few songs? Or will it still keep them in there now with the new update?!

    Someone please help me!

And if there is a simple way to transfer all the stuff that was on the iTouch that I didn't buy to the computer, please let me know immediately!!

    Thanks!

Ummm, none of that helped for me. And I dont even know how to get those two to work. I put it on manual, but when I click sync, it only syncs for about like two seconds and then it stops syncing.

I've tried SharePod, but it always keeps saying that nothing is connected. And then I plug the iPod in and then take it out like a million times and it still says the same thing!

Can someone please tell me on how to fix this?!

    ^^^ drag and drop FTW.

Open itunes.... plug in your device...... wait for itunes to recognize it.... unclick the sync my music/whatever when I plug in my device on its main screen (Click once on device on the far left column in itunes to view its main screen). Add music to your library (God help you if you don't know how to do this one).... then drag and drop the songs you want/vids you want to your device.

Was that simple enough for you??
