I lost my iPod touch in my house, and couldnt find it. I am positive that it is still connected to my network. How do I access it? For example, i want it to play some music so that i can hear where it is. Its 3 generation.
    Please help!! thanks.

You lose network connectivity when you lock your iPod

I have earphones plugged in it so I basically cant hear anything.
And since the app "remote" allows you to control ur itunes from ipod, shouldnt there be a way to control ur ipod thru itunes?
    Thanks for all the help

I thought about that, like a reverse
Remote app, but even then you'd
need to install it on the device
    which would require you to
have physical access to it (wouldn't it?)

At least you can safely say it'll be in
the last place you look for it.
    After that, you've found it!

If you had it jailbroken and outfitted with VNC of some sort, you could control the screen and make it play some kind of music if it were a 2nd or 3rd generation iPod. Other than that, just keep looking. I'm sure you'll find it.
