    1) sign up for last.fm and scrobble for a year (more or less, more = better results)
    2) go here, plug in your username, merge duplicate genres etc etc and press go

    Charts like this are bullsh*t.

Crypt tell us, what do you ACTUALLY listen to on a daily basis?

I have a lot of the music you have.

My main genre's are Rock and Pop.

I like LOTS of Pop like Cascada,Black Eyed Peas, and stuff like that.

For rock I like Avenged Sevenfold,Linkin Park,Paramore, and many others.

I have a ton of music not a lot of artists because I have completed the artists discographies instead of downloading only the popular songs.

    Mostly alternative,ska,punk

mm i disagree, that chart pretty accurately sums up my taste as a whole (i.e. from last june 'til now). though the ambient tag is a bit high because it's based off playcount and i generally leave ambient music on overnight.

here's my last 3 months chart, which is more what i'm in to right now

in words: i've been mainly listening to hip hop lately (i.e. since spring), specifically bliss n eso and astronautalis have become two of my favorite hip hop groups in the past couple months.

but also lights out asia's become one of my favorite bands in the last month (they're sort of ambient electronic/post rock). it's suddenly gotten pretty cold around here, so today i went looking for some wintery albums and have been listening to them all day (mainly ambient techno, trip hop type stuff- emancipator, mind.in.a.box, saltillo, echospace, etc). i usually just bounce around my library, whatever i'm feeling atm or if someone mentions a band to me i'll go listen to them, etc
