I just JB an iPod and yes, Cydia doesn't work, if you know of a way of installing SSH then in the iPod then a solution will come soon, if not then using Total Commander or a software like that. If this problem persist, there will be a lot of new sources for installer, one of these will contain WinterBoard.

You guys honestly dont know how to use the directions??

    Download Redsn0w Semi.

Open folder, and navigate to semi/CustomPackages/Cydia.bundle/Files/usr/lib

Now, right click PwnageTool and Show package contents. Go to Contents/Resources/CustomFirmware/Cydia.bundle/Files/usr/lib

MOVE ALL FILES FROM THE SEMI LOCATION: semi/CustomPackages/Cydia.bundle/Files/usr/lib to PwnageTool.app/Contents/Resources/CustomFirmware/Cydia.bundle/Files/usr/lib

    Overwrite the existing files.

Now, copy info.plist from semi/CustomPackages/Cydia.bundle and overwrite the info.plist file in PwnageTool.app/Contents/Resources/CustomFirmware/Cydia.bundle

    Cydia will now install.

It should still work. It's not like there's a .tar.gz anywhere in those instructions.

Cydia does work, along with installer. It takes time refreshing your sources (depending on your wifi). I had problems with it, then it suddenly started working again. Meh, some things just fix themselves.

Yes, Cydia works perfectly on a "osx ipsw".

    We're talking of a semi-tethered on Windows here, I don't think that's your case.

Espeorb: Pwnage Tool is only for mac. I don't know if those instructions are appliable.
