I am new to developing, I know most main things and am familiar with Xcode and Interface builder but go easy. Lol. So how can i use the live iPhone camera feed to be my background, like in this app: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=313095174&mt=8
My app isnt like that though...Please help, maybe make a tutorial in the other section? Reply to tell me too!

    Thanks! Your time is appreciated!

Add subviews to the view in a UIImagePickerController in camera mode.

IDK, I would say one way you can is to capture the image and than use it and delete the image but thats alot of battery.

    1) Present the image picker
    2) Wipe all subviews off the image picker, excluding the actual "camera view."
    3) Add your subviews.

Would that not be extremely annoying and battery draining? Cool idea though.

It would be, but the app would be pointless without it. And thanks everyone for the information...can someone explain that in a little bit more detail or send me a message on aim or skype: Rdude118

Yeah it seems similar to that one mail app that had the camera out so you can walk and type at the same time.
If you're making it for texting tell me nao
