Hi everyone! So i have my friends iPhone 3g with me and he wants it unlocked, but i dont have t-mobile to test if it worked, how can i test it? I have a verizon sim card (came with blackberry storm) and my dads old cingular sim card that isn't activated. So how do i test, because hes going to russia so it has to work this time.

The Blackberry storm did because it was for global use or something

Verizon doesn't have official SIM cards just for this particular Blackberry. SIM cards are for Vodafone carrier.

Yup. SIM Card is T-Mobile. If you don't have a T-Mobile SIM card then there is no absolute reason for the iPhone to be unlocked.
