When I put my iPod touch 3G 32GB 3.1.3 to sleep I notice that it disconnects from wifi. It gets annoying because if I need to access something like tsn or fml quickly, it says I'm not connected and I have to restart app and wait for it and stuff. Is there any way I can can stop it from disconnecting? My iPods jailbroken with spirit and has cydia.

jailbroken is a good place to be as you'll need to enter cydia and install insomnia. from there, make sure it is enabled and you will have wifi evermore in your locked screen adventures.

For me when I turn on my iPod from sleep, it takes about 5 seconds to re-connect to WiFi, so I don't really know what the problem is :|

As stated, jailbreak + insomnia is the way to go...this will murder your battery life though.

I use KeepAwake, and really only turn it on when I'm SSHing.

I just have auto-lock turned off so that my iPod never goes to sleep.

Remember that both insomnia and keepawake are bugged with the "sound coming out of the speakers and earphones" bug. It gets annoying but it's not too bad. And I don't think there's a differance between the two.

Wait, so what does it do? Does it play audio out of both headphones and speakers?
