So my phone will wake when a call comes in or a text, but how can i make it wake up for an email? I know I still have to check it, but just to let me know an email has come in? Im at work and phone is on desk so I usually don't hear the vibrate.

    Thanks

What do you mean by "wake"? Make sure you have the New Mail Sound enabled in Settings > Sounds.

well, if you get a text or a push your iPhone wakes and the screen is on.

When you get emails it doesn't, i think he wants it to do the same.

    I THINK.

To my knowledge, this is not possible, but I imagine a Springboard extension could be created to deal with new mail messages. I'll investigate the feasibility, and I may be able to work on it.

I'm pretty sure you can't do this. You can have it play a sound or vibrate, but other than that, I don't think there is a way. I leave my vibrate setting on all the time, so when I hear the buzz, I'll pick it up to see if it is a text or an email. Texts show up, emails don't.

Thanks guys, yeah that is what I want. Sometimes I cant hear the vibrate with the noise around me so it would be nice for it to wake also.

Well, there may be a service out there that sends you text messages whenever you get emails, sounds like something google would do if you ask me.

Just set that up and it should wake up when you get the text about your email!
