how can i jailbreak my ipod touch 1g 3.1.3 without useing 3.1.2?

    hi i have just updated my ipod touch 1g to 3.1.3 and im wondering how to jailbreak it without downloading the 3.1.2 because in most of the tuts i have seen you need to have the 3.1.2 restore file and i have not got it and i dont want to download it because it takes to long on my internet is on a limit

    so how can i jailbreak it only using the 3.1.3 file? ps: i have the 3.0 restore file if that helps. please help me because i have not got any apps on my ipod anymore

    You can't jailbreak it without the 3.1.2 restore file.

    so get the 1st gen 3.1.2 software (to stay on forum rules, i can't tell you where to get it from) and run redsn0w

    You need the 3.1.2 FW as that's how redsn0w generates the jailbreak for 3.1.3. Beyond that, did you jump straight from 3.0 or go from 3.0 to 3.1.1 or 3.1.2? If it's the latter, the necessary files should be on your hard drve.
