    Hi,

unfortunately my Ipod touch was once washed in the washing maschine because i forgot to take it out of my jackets pocket.
Fortunately it recovered, but it can't connect to a wifi network anymore. So now i jailbeaked it to 2.2, but I can't install openSSH with Cydia because there is no network connection. In fact it shows the available networks, but the Ipod can not connect to any ot them.

So my question is, if there's a way to install OpenSSH without using Cydia or the Installer?

Thank you all for your answers.

Even if there was, OpenSSH requires wifi to work (as does any SSH client)

Not true. Programs such as iPhone Tunnel Suite allow you to SSH through your USB cable. Google it, it's free.

Also, try Cyder, it allows you to download packages from Cydia if you don't have wi-fi on your iPod.
