iOS 4.1 how can i delete adds from apps via ssh?

    Do mean to remove ads like admob?

    i donno what ad mod is, but probably.

    I think you can edit the hosts file to block ads in Cydia, I dunno about other apps.

    He means iAd and Admob.

    Nothing works. You would rather use apps illegally eh? The patch is on a source somewhere.

    Your greedy enough to complain about textfree?
    Pay the 5 dollars to get rid of them if it is that much of a problem.

    Ads = keeping those apps free.

    Go play "We Doodle", Now that is un-needed ads.

    i managed to do this a while ago, because i hated when i would accidentally click an ad while playing a game.

    First download Firewall iP from cydia or just get the deb file (i just suggest you get v1.0)
    once installed you can set the settings for which apps can access the internet and which ones cant.so just select the game you want to remove ads from and select block all connections.next time you run the game the ads wont be there!
