Well, my iPod's battery seems to drain very quickly. I always keep the screen on very low brightness to try to conserve, but it doesn't help much. Any tips?

I read something about turning wifi and SSH off. I know how to turn of wifi in settings, but how do I turn of SSH? Does this really help? Is there an app that lets you shut both wifi and SSH off from the same screen... cuz this would be an awesome app.

If I could get any help with learning how to turn of SSH and maybe some other battery conservation methods, that would be awesome

What Firmware are you on? And you can conserve battery life too by setting autolock to 1 minute too. You can also turn Wi-Fi off, which conserves a TON of battery life.

Install NetServices.app from this source: <homepage.mac.com/hartsteins/copycoders/copycoders.xml>

It allows you to turn off SHH, as well as wifi, and whatever else you want turned on/off.

turn ssh off by downladoing netservies or openssh from isntaller

i hear dat being on 1.1.3 firmware helps conserve battery and i agree with that

turn off wifi when u are not using it
if u get extended preferences u can put autolock to 30 seconds

watch less videos and lower safari useage those drain battery like crazy

Edge is wat iphone users use as internet
EDGE is a faster version of GSM wireless service. It enables data to be delivered at rates up to 384 Kbps on a broadband.

If you don't have an iPhone don't worry about it.

Also for the iPhone. It stops the iPhone from emitting radio waves while on a plane. This is common among most cellphones.
