I was thinking about ugrading to 1.1.3, and i was wonderring if there was a way to back up my apps, instead of reinstalling them all after i restore it.
there is probably a thread letting me know this already, but its late, and i need to upgrade it because my battery life is weird, and apparantly 1.1.3 handles it better.
so if someone can let me know how to back up my files and just drag it in with ssh or lead me to a thread that lets me know that would be very helpful.
    thanks you

You can backup them but some applications may not work on 1.1.3 who work on 1.1.1 and 1.1.2.

Some apps can be easily backed up from the /Applications folder.
Others have links to /var/mobile/media or library etc.

yes, but my question is now..
can i just copy the current folders, upgrade my pod, then paste the same folders and overwrite the new ones through ssh?
