I feel like being a normal user. Not jailbroken or anything. A normal Apple iPod Touch, Legit Apps, no customizations, it can be neat and fast, why not try it?

No I'm suggesting, maybe a few days without being jailbroken? Try it!

Never. SBSettings, Winterboard, Cydia, can't live without it.

Instead of losing your Jailbreak, just go and remove your apps you don't like but leave OpenSSH and some things that release you from the restraints that apple holds you by.

    pffss
why would you evr want to that ?

whenever you feel your ipod touch is not fast enough, just open swap mode on set it to game mode it gets the ipod blazing fast because it turns off all jaibroken programs deamons on the background

or is it because of the tethered jailbreak?

there is absolutely no way i could live without a jailbreak. the features are just awesome. winterboard doesnt matter that much, but all the other tweaks i like too much to leave jailbreaking.

I agree yah, there is just so much more that you have rather than just the normal iPod. Jailbreaking makes it more like a computer rather than a music player/game player.

I've left the jailbreak scene since I bought my 2G iPod touch a while back...

Now, I have my iPhone 3GS, and am doing fine without a jailbreak.
The only reason I'd want to jailbreak is for the GameBoy emulator and QuickReply.

    It's not that bad

I find no use in themes, and going to the settings instead of SBSettings doesn't kill me.

Oh hi. Been doing that since like, 2.0 Betas? Tried JBing again, but was just too frustrating (Especially SBSettings. First time activation was so annoying). And everything was so slow, by that I mean installing stuff, Winterboard, etc.

I have an iPod touch 1st Generation.

Now, I want an Android toy.
