Horrible Horrible Problem!

    Ok, i just fixed my itunes from being gayy.
    noww when i plug my ipod touch 2g in it says this.
    "iPod cannot be used the required software is not installed please uninstall and reinstall."
    the thing is i did that... and to no prevail (this is iTunes 8.1)
    but the same happens on 8.2 -.-
    SO SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!!!!!
    another issue
    My comp and itunes doesnt detect my ipod in DFU Mode. at all!!! when i tried using redsn0w to jailbreak 3.0
    i put into DFU and it wasnt recognized nothing on my comp popped up besides a warning that new unknown hardware was found.. which was the same thing that happened earlier when i couldnt detect my ipod at all. which i solved by upgrading driver for the usb but that didnt work this time :[ PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

    Okay, I'll try helping you out here (hope it works)..

    First, go to Control Panel and go to Software..
    Uninstall iTunes, QuickTime AND Apple Mobile Device.
    Make sure to do a reboot before installing iTunes again!
    Now, let the iTunes installer do a clean install and see if the problem persists.
    If so, I'll read it here

    u could do that or use the uninstaller from itunes installer to remove,

    it wouldnt let me uninstall Apple Mobile Device.. soo would yo suggest deleting all files with windows installer cleannup?

    You might wanna make sure your USB cable isn't broken
    I don't know really know it's just an idea

    Nah, that's probably not it. It's a common problem. Yes, I recommend you uninstall it with that. Just make sure everything's gone and do a clean install

    uhh it connects but says i need 8.2! and the dfu still doesnt work!
    ------------------double post merged------------------
    now on 8.2 it wont connect! at all it says it needs a newer version of Apple Mobile Device Support and to uninstall
