iOS 4.0 Hopefully somone can help?

    So I have a 3gs with firmware 3.1.3 (7e18) jailbroken with spirit. Is there any way for me to JB to iOS4, should I update firmware then JB? JB to 4? What? Any ideas guys?

    Also, if somone wants to tell me what an MC model is (how I can find out if mine is, and how I can find out if I have the new or old bootrom, I can give you more info

    To check MC go to settings, general, about then scroll down to find it. No idea about the bootrom. Not sure about your first post as I have a ipod touch. =)

    Ok it says MC135LL Does that mean anything to anyone?

    Anyone have any ideas about my first post?

    I have partly the same problem I have a 8GB MC iPod touch on the 3.1.3 firmware, but I don't know what MC means! Please help!

    It's referring to the model number. If it begins with "MC", it's an MC model.
    I thought this only referred to iPod Touch 2G's, so I'm not really sure about you tallbus.
