I have a macbook and a xp dektop both with itunes 9 and i want to transfer the music/videos from the pc to mac.

I turned home sharing on on both, authorized them, etc.
Both libraries show up on both computers, but when i try to drag the files from my pc library over to my mac library, it does not work.

    How do I do this?

normally it shows you both Libraries and you can even sort, which songs from the other library are not at the current one. I once had problems, as different apple accounts were used. are you signed in at the same account at both computer ?

edit: but you have it sorted anyway as I see

    i have it now.

the problem was that when i first typed in my itunes account, i didnt include the @ and the site. i just typed in the account name and then the library showed up, but i couldnt transfer any songs/videos.

i turned home sharing off, turned it back on and then typed in the @ and it worked
