home button to close applications??

    i know when u hold down the home button for 5 seconds it closes the application....

    it doesnt look very tidy... is this intended for closing programs
    or is it a force quit kinda thing??

    I believe it is the correct way to close an application. If you just tap the home button you are not really closing it but "tabbing" out of it.

    It does that? I always just go back to like my homepage or the main menu of it then tab out.

    you will notice that when you are playing NES games , that a small icon next to the battery appears at the top , and it wont disappear until you "close" the NES program by holding the home button down. It will stay there if you don't , probably using more battery power

    I think the icon is only when your actually running a NES game, if you click ROM list before exiting the icon is not there I believe.
