It seems like whatever custom ROM I run on my AT&T Galaxy Note the home button refuses to work. Here is the process I am going about flashing: 1) Wipe 2) Factory Reset 3) Clear Cache and Dalvik Cache 3) Install 4) ROM and then the gapps 5) Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache again The home button works fine on the stock ROM. Anyone know what's up?
Its something to do with the Google Apps. I get this from time to time. Just redownload some Google Apps that you can find (usually on the XDA thread).
I was thinking that too. The two ROMs I downloaded had two different gapps. I fixed the problem temporarily with a kernel that is designed for this sort of problem, but the battery life isn't the greatest with the kernel.
Also, as a side note, have you tried Franco.Kernel on your GNOTE, it is supposed to deliver amazing battery on the Note. EDIT: Hadn't refreshed the page and seen your post, thats weird. I posted about kernels as did you.
Never heard of it haha. I have to use flappjaxxx's kernel until I find another fix for my capacitive home button not working
