I just recently purchased an iPod Touch, one of the new ones. The Home Button is quite loose when I move it around a bit, and it also makes a clicking noise. Is this a common issue with all devices? And has this happened to anyone who recently purchased the new iPod Touch?

Cheers, to anyone that can help.

I had this problem, but it was actually the screen coming lose and then when I pressed the home button it was clicking against the edge of the screen.

Take it to the apple store and they should give you a new one.

My screen isn't loose, but it's just the home button. The clicking gets pretty annoying, and for some reason, it's getting worse, in which it's getting more loose. Will they accept exchange returns for this as a valid reason?

Please stay on topic... that is irrelevant.

You can bring your new iPod touch to an Apple Store and you will be given a brand new one because you are covered under the default 1-year warranty.

I have contacted my reseller, from where I had purchased it and they suggested that I contact Apple about servicing. I also tried to return it, within the store warranty, but they would only accept it if it was a dead unit, or hardware issue.

I've also contacted Apple, through phone, and they said it wasn't a common issue.

Tell them whats wrong and that it is a Hardware Problem.
Just keep on complaining about the Button. Say that it is a Big Issue for you because a little problem is like a Bomb to u and makes you sad and not wanna buy Apple products ever again.

If they still do not fix it for you then Sorry
