So I've had my ipod touch 1G for a year and three weeks. 3 Weeks over the warranty

. I've booked an appointment at a apple store for Sunday as my home button doesn't work anymore.

My question is what will apple do?

Will they fix it and charge me a lot of money
    or
Replace it (however with what model

they may replace it but it won't be free. most likely they will send it away to be repaired at your own cost.

As previously said, the charge will be hefty. It's best to look at a third-party vendor who can fix this for you, but it won't be as reliable. It's a question here of price versus reliability.

jnsskyliner, nice genesis coupe. I got the 4.6 sedan and it is the best car I have ever owned or driven.

To the last 2 posts, do you guys even read the thread before posting? He clearly stated Apple replaced it for free, so guess you were wrong.
