home button broken..

    yeah ive read other threads, and they just state bring it to apple to get it replaced.. but my apple warranty ended in early november..! will they still fix it..?

    also, i bought mine from best buy, and i have a 3 year warranty from best buy..

    so where do i bring my ipod too? best buy..? or apple? even though my apple warranty ended in november..?

    Best buy..just be prepared to hear a load of crap from the returns people if your under 18.
    They'll replace it as long as you didnt physically drop it, or cause that to happen directly.

    yeah i didnt drop it... i was just listening to my music, and i wanted to press the home button, but it didnt go anywhere.. and this happened this morning. what a nice christmas.. broken home button

    just over 1 year.

    then again, apple is known for have products that last for a pretty long time, in working condition.

    hopefully i wont have a problem getting it replaced. and i especially dont want to be lectured by there employees telling me how treat it more carefully.. cuz i cherish my ipod.

    Yeah i tried to take my nano back ( a few years ago)and they gave me a hard time, that i broke it where in reality the screen stopped functioning all together, so i had convince them (20 minute conversation

    i will seriously get into an argument with them if there accusing me that i broke it myself..

    ill ask them, "how do you break a home button on an ipod touch/iphone"

    come on now, its the most frequent button you press on the touch!!!

    p.s. there is a software "replacement" install sbsettings and download the close app button for it.. works pretty well
