I was it like I normally do with my wrist resting on the edge and it shocked me hard core, like I have a white-pinkish burn mark there. I just shut it down and am on my old dell,

has this happened to anyone else? What should I do?

No don't! You'll cut off circulation to your hand, and it won't have any feeling. And what if you roll over it with a chair?

What you describe is very unlikely even if you did get a little shock. Better get to a doctor and get an attorney if you are going to try and play that game.
