Ok, first of all this is NOT FRAUD.

So after I posted that thread earlier about how I could not get the G2 iPod touch from a Apple warranty trade in, I realized "WTF! I did not get my iPod touch from an Apple store! I purchased it from circuit city!". So just now I called them, and told them everything.

The woman on the line connected me to the circuit city branch where i bought my iPod touch, and after I told her I want to exchange my G1 iPod touch for a new one because there are new features on the G2 iPod. They told me that I can send my G1 iPod touch in, and they will send me a gift card. This gift card will have the money I need to purchase a G2 iPod touch from their store!

    Thanks circuit city!

wow seems retail stores do a better policy on Apple's items than Apple actually does.

Dude I just called the woman. + I just found out there is a catch.

According to them my iPod touch is worth 167 dollars, BUT I also have an iPod nano 4G that can be traded in for 37 dollars. This, coupled with the iPod nano and a bit of my own cash gives me enough to buy the new iPod touch!

But 1 more problem. How am I gonna transfer my Apple protection plan?

that is such a rip off then... sell it on ebay/craigslist and you will make alot more and still be able to keep your nano, or maybe even get the 16GB, you can def get alot more than $173...
